Changemakers.
Changemaker Events bring the neighborhood closer to LGBTQ+ actors, models, artists, creators and public figures who are using their platforms for positive change.
Kirstie Nicole hosts an intimate one-to-one conversation with each guest: a chance to hear more of their story, celebrate a project they are building and understand the change they hope to create. Then the room opens, and Neighbors get to ask their questions directly.

Our first-ever Amistara meetup brought Neighbors from seven countries to Amsterdam—many meeting face-to-face for the very first time. What began as messages, profiles and virtual hellos became shared meals, Pride celebrations, long conversations and the kind of memories that stay with you.
Online hellos can become
core life memories.
Amsterdam was the first gathering of its kind for The Amistara, but it will not be the last. We are thoughtfully building more moments to gather—both in person and inside The Amistara—so wherever you live, there is always another opportunity to connect.
In between larger Amistara events, Neighbors often coordinate smaller meetups of their own—coffee, local Pride plans, a day out or a simple chance to finally meet the person behind the screen. More virtual and in-person events are on the way.
